Indian Mantras For Everyday Chanting

appadContinuing with Grandpa’s Mantras, today Mr. G. Easwaran brings to us a series of mantras for everyday chanting. Mantras are a way of endorsing affirmations to the Universe.  If we know their meaning, it is even better for us.  In Indian customs, mantras are the way anything is done, whether it be birth, a celebration or even death. Said in Sanskrit, all of them have lot of meaning and are the best way, we can imbibe faith in the world.

According to Indian customs, a mantra is meant to strengthen mind, body and intellect. If you start a day with mantra and end with one, then you are only giving back to Universe what it gave you. There are special mantras for each occasion and event.  Every religion has a way of praying. What you say is not what matters, so long as you say it,  is what matters.

  1. Great mantras for everyday chanting.

One request – if you can put the mantras in the original sanskrit text along with the roman script, it would make easier reading and introduce people to reading of original sanskrit (devanagiri) script.
